Statement
I have a very adventurous taste in music; my top three choices are classical, EDM, and Death Metal. Techno is a subgenre of EDM that emulates machine-like beats with heavy drums and synths. I connected underground electronica to humans’ love of technology in art throughout the centuries, as they express their love for their creations through a form of art. The most prominent design movement representing this theme is the Russian Constructivism Movement; I used heavy, bold color schemes of red, black, and white to pay homage to the now-diminished avant-garde movement.
Our love of technology remains to this day, as artists of the new generation still take inspiration from the Russian Constructivist Movement. Thus, circling back to the title, Techno Never Dies.
